Honouring the retirement of company founder Rick Lacasse meant celebrating an exceptional forty-year legacy of residential, commercial, and remediation construction on Vancouver Island.
As the next generation of the Lacasse family prepared to take the reins as owners and operators, it became increasingly important to share the story of both the company’s history and its future direction.
Built for Generations was established to encapsulate both the reputation for long-lasting, high-quality construction and the intergenerational knowledge of the industry that has been passed down through the family and longtime team members. This bold new messaging also represents a vision for the future of the organization, a company focused on bringing strong family values to its business operations and cultivating a culture that will continue to thrive for decades to come.
Along with the tagline, the Lacasse family worked on an evolution of their visual branding that would reflect their mandate, including a new logo and website.
The Lacasse Construction team is proud to introduce a logo which highlights the company’s roots in the Comox Valley and decades of combined work experience by incorporating stoic, mountain-like imagery and the colour green. The upward-pointing triangular shape is also reminiscent of an arrow, indicating the upward trajectory of the company’s future.
The goal for the Lacasse Construction rebrand was to build a visual identity that would stand out within the community, creating a symbol that is relatable and memorable. Ultimately, what is most important to the Lacasse Construction team is that current and potential future clients will be able to have a strong understanding of what it is they do, how they do it, and what their reputation has been built on for generations.
