Arliss Lacasse

Safety Manager

Arliss Lacasse grew up in Comox. Arliss started working in the construction industry in 1997 and then spent several years as a firefighter for the Courtenay Fire Department. Arliss joined the Lacasse team as a carpenter in 2007 with a 5-year hiatus at WorkSafeBC as an Occupational Safety Officer and Provincial Construction Advisory Team Member. With this prestigious WorkSafeBC experience, including Rope Access Safety and Psychological Health and Safety, Arliss is now a highly experienced Safety Manager at Lacasse Construction.

Arliss takes pride in writing for business and speaking to small groups, and is focused on carrying forward the positive legacy of Rick Lacasse in order to lift people up at work.

On the weekends you will find Arliss spending time swimming with family in the summer and mushroom picking in the fall.

What do you love most about living in the Comox Valley?

I love being close to family and swimming in the rivers, lakes, and ocean.

What do you love about the Lacasse Construction team?

I love working with family and being a part of something great that is growing and changing.

What is your most proud accomplishment outside of work?

My children being healthy and happy.
