Lacasse Construction was brought on board by the client to work with the municipality, the design team, and the base building contractor throughout the pre-construction process to ensure a smooth transition into the construction of a new facility. Lacasse worked through permitting requirements which included the successful navigation of several covenants that existed on the building title.
The office was added to a new multi-family and commercial building that was already under construction. Challenges with a building that was partially completed and partially occupied were overcome through the planning process by the Lacasse team. Servicing to the unit including access through common areas and underground parkades were additional challenges for the Lacasse team.
The construction resulted in a beautifully designed office space, meeting room, kitchen, and quiet space where team members can recharge. The project incorporates a variety of materials including the flooring, tile, granite, glass, and concrete.
